The Traffic Queen

My Nickname for many years has been "The Traffic Queen". Website Traffic comes in many venues. We will explore a few here for reference.

Banner Advertising: Although this is one of the easiest and less expensive stream of traffic we have managed to pull as much as a 5% clickthru rate using a specific formula and lots of testing.

Raw Traffic: Raw traffic is traffic that is not targeted. It is generally purchased in large volume so that the cost is very low. This type of traffic is generally used to quickly raise your traffic ranking so that the seach engines will spider your site based sheerly on volume of traffic your website is receiving.

Guaranteed Visitors: This stream of traffic is not the same as Raw Traffic. It can be targeted or non-targeted depending on the traffic supplier. This is one of the questions you will need to ask your specific traffic supplier. The word "Guaranteed" usually means that they will guarantee the delivery of the traffic - it does not mean the traffic supplier will guarantee results.

Guaranteed Signups: Highly effective when used the right way. These are people who have generally been incentivized or paid to join your free opportunity. Some Guaranteed Signup providers do not incentivize the people they send to you. Once again this is something you will need to ask your supplier specifically before placing an order. Now keep in mind that even though these Guaranteed Signups are coming to join your opportunity, ezine, or other membership site that the fact that they are visiting your site during that time means that your traffic ranking can go up. Most do not realize that Guaranteed Signups are also a form of traffic. The word "Guaranteed" usually means that they will guarantee the delivery of the signups - it does not mean the traffic supplier will guarantee that they will upgrade or make a purchase.

Expired Domain Traffic: Expired Domain Traffic comes from webmasters and companies that buy expired domain names that formerly had a high traffic ranking and/or search engine ranking. Sometimes a webmaster will forget to renew a domain, or just neglect the site to the point of losing the domain name. At that point the domain becomes available for new registration and someone else is usually waiting to purchase it. The traffic is then harnessed into a targeted traffic stream and resold to the public as Expired Domain Traffic. We have done extensive testing with this type of traffic and have been able to formulate good results.

Paid to Click/Paid To Promote/Paid To Read Traffic: There are many places that offer GPT (Get Paid To) style traffic. For the mostpart this audience is not very responsive but the benefit is that large amounts of traffic can be acquired for very low cost and can significantly improve your traffic ranking. This traffic can be very good for testing splash pages, lead pages, and more.

PopUnders/PopUps: Some marketers claim these forms of marketing still work very well. Our own tests prove they don't do well at all. But if your offer is a free one and your splash page is quick to load, plus very compelling and of high value, you may still see some signups and sales when traffic is placed in very large volume. Very large volume is anything over 1 million.

PayPerClick Search Engines: There are many PayPerClick Search Engines to advertise on. Some of them offer free credits and cash to get you started. Prices range again from very low to very high per click. Our favorite is Google. However, if you have no experience with PayPerClick you might want to take a few courses otherwise you could spend a lot of money with little or no return.

CPA Network Ads: CPA is Connecting Publishers and Advertisers. There are many CPA Networks that will setup your product/service so that it will be instantly available to hundreds or thousands of publishers who have extensive experience in selling your product/service to gain targeted leads and prospects. If you have a unique product with great value you will want to use a CPA Network to gain massive exposure quickly. Link Exchanges: Generally free to low cost. Can help you get visitors if the links are reciprocal links. This means both parties have exchanged links. If you are keen enough to find a free reciprocal linking partner with a high traffic ranking - kiss them!

Classifieds: There are many classified networks that range from free to pay per ad style classifieds. Test them for free when you can and then buy ads if they produce.

Traffic Exchange Traffic: While most Traffic Exchanges offer free website hits in exchange for your viewing other members websites, you may find the quality of traffic is low unless you learn how to use this traffic effectively.

NOTE: Cheap Traffic has its place - it's good for testing. If you are serious about your business and are ready after testing to purchase quality traffic then it's time to set your budget, make the purchases and track your ROI.
